11 years ago we used to say that we are living in the 20th century although we were surrounded by thousands of RETARDED idiots claiming to be believers and serious people, living in fear and chained ! Of course there is a big difference between the real and fake freedom, but start freeing your souls and attain “The Full Freedom of Will and Speech” ! w ekherta ma3kon ya3ne !!!!!!!!

Concubinage is a MUST ! There is no brother or father who wishes the BEST for his sister or daughter and will forbid her from living with her beloved before marriage !
Statistics in the whole world show that 90% of the men show a FAKE image of themselves before the marriage just to seduce the woman, but after the marriage, she will discover almost the opposite !

with all due respect, this is stupid! i am a lebanese american, living in america, and not every thing that is practiced in europe and america should be brought to lebanon, its not nessesary to be right! i wish before they talk about this, they talk about how to develope laws that would improve the infrastructure of the balad! i agree with maltouch! i like his sarcasm! he goes straight to the poinT!

its a 100% healthy practice
however there should be certain legal framework for it
a woman partner should be compensated as a wife does if a break up happens
i believe that men are more polygamous than women and
at a certain age a woman might find herself left alone

Waw it’s so Cool to live the western life just on thus side! This Hadara! We dont talk about the role of the youth in improving Lebanon’s economy and diverse social problems.Comcubinage will help to make our countrey a better country! Waw i’m impressed guys. We have lack in our education system, we are loosing our values, we have deep economic problems, we starting to loose all of our ethics, we have deep social problem..and how we will solve that by concubinage and basically being Cool! Lak Akh!

Such a delicate subject should be discussed with bi-sex people, different ages&society levels, having mature arguments & scientifical/practical info.Cohabitation(at least for 1 year) is necessary to discover: if he/she is fake or not; if they’re compatible/not in habitudes, intimacy, couple&personal matters! So they can see if they can get along/keep fighting&if they are ready&able to accept the weaknesses&defects of each others by offering mutual help to grow, otherwise it would be destructive!

As for me, I’ve done it because I preferred 1000 times to live a straight life rather than living a reckless bachelor life, swapping different sex partners, getting lost, and staying out late… Believe me, 2 sincere and correct partners can really help each others lives by sharing their thoughts, dreams, feelings, problems, bodies even the house rent lol
, and by organizing their day outs as well as their vacations and public holidays… Isn’t it much better than living a reckless life ?????

“Concubinage” is there, among many Lebanese, mostly who are living abroad including me… I got married to my present wife after we lived together for more than 2 years (and it’s a very successful and happy marriage)… But still, I don’t prefer to ask the question “are you with or against?” since it’s just a personal matter and nobody can impose his opinion on others… I would rather ask “are you ready to do it or no?”….

(part one below)
I am already considering this “guy” to be openminded and accept concubinage as part of the “free thinking” package, so chaste and innocent and virgin crap are left behind.
In any case, i think we see eye to eye. We’re talking about the same thing, just across genders

Ok, the ball is in the guy’s court now
BUT
A girl letting the guy decide, is a dominated girl. So there’s a big problem with your hypothesis considering girl to be inferior and guys to handle “more authority”. This is true, but this changes, the moment girls decide to be free of chains, they should be free of “man’s authority” shouldn’t they. It’s awkward when a girl says: “I am for concubinage, but the guy I live with decides for me… so he should be this and that.”

BUT what I was saying is: guys have more authority in the lebanese society. it’s true, dont deny it. if guys were to say: I will live with a girl and then I will dump her because i want the mother of my children to be “chaste” and “innocent” and “clean” and “unopened” (i hate this word so much by the way)….. then what’s left? society says no, family says no, neighbors say no… and the guy she’s living with says no too?? why the f* is she risking it in the first place then?
